A Queen Size one cloth quilted from the 1970’s was in need of a re-quilting when the owner noticed the thread decomposing.
A small “Kitty” quilt that was inherited but never finished was completed to be used by Bijou the owners cat.
A very Sentimental “Tree of Life” quilt that was hand quilted by the Mother of a dear friend of the owner. It needed a good wash and many smaller restorations.
A very iconic Canadian “Parasol Lady” from the 1950’s in need of repair of a damaged Lady.
A late 1880's Crazy quilt from Scotland stitched by a Great Auntie. Replaced the deteriorating backing, documented, conserved and placed in museum textile storage boxes for another hundred years!
A favourite family antique quilt that was threadbare was enveloped with a new quilt top and back, extending it's life for the owner.
A mid-century and a very sentimental quilt was stitched back together for a new beginning.
A long lost lovingly hand-stitched by Grandmother, this Boat quilt was restored for a brother from his sister as a fabulous birthday gift.
A hand sewn silk wall-hanging of a Log Cabin quilt was restored and placed in a shadowbox to admire for years to come.
A Mother’s handmade quilt for her aspiring actress daughter with embroidered titles of all the Musical shows she has sang in! A most loved ‘Remembrance’ quilt for the daughter restored for the memories.
A very Sentimental Log Cabin quilt made by a Sister-in-Law for her favourite Brother-in-Law. Restored, washed and back on the bed!
